Paul McCartney ‘One On One’ Tour Visuals.

One of many tours with Sir Paul, adding to a working relationship which has gone back almost 12 years now. HyperVague created a whole host of new material for One on One (and later the ‘Freshen Up’ tour as well). It’s so exciting/enthralling/scary to be given the task of the intro sequence for these shows- to be responsible for firing up the crowds of thousands upon thousands in preparation for the man himself. This time we built a cylindrical guitar case with a never-ending psychadelic collage which opens to reveal Paul’s iconic hofner bass. We also cheekily destroyed the houses of parliament (luckily the press did not catch on) for Live and Let Die, with a full scale CG epic. Other numbers included Blackbird, Let It Be, Ob-la-di, Here there and Everywhere, and Maybe I’m amazed.
