The Killers Tour Visuals.

I was lucky enough to be involved in the killers’ ‘Wonderful Wonderful’ tour, which won a Knight of Illumination award for video content. For ‘The Man’, a Talking Heads-infused Bee Gees disco stomper, the band wanted to include the iconic ‘Vegas Vic’ neon cowboy, in celebration of their hometown. Creative Director William Baker added a little Bruce Nauman flavour into the mix and the Neon-Casino-Vortex look was born! My job was to bring the whole thing into life and ‘make it move’. For ‘Somebody told me’ the inspiration was the legendary casinos of the Rat Pack era - Binion’s Horseshoe, Stardust, and the Golden Nugget. Not that I’m obsessed by neon or anything. The team were re-united again for Glastonbury, and we turned the epic-ness dial up one more notch. The band’s 5 star performance did not disappoint!
